It is our mission to change the landscape of what is needed when you go through a separation or divorce. With first-hand experience of being in your shoes, founder Jo Fuhrmann, is passionate about challenging the status quo. Jo has passionately listened and worked with clients to discover what self-care should look like through separation.
It’s about what you as an individual need within the family law system, as well as outside of the legal framework to help you through the separation process. This holistic approach provides the foundational steps, so that you can emerge on the other side feeling informed, empowered, and confident (not broken, or broke).

What feels like the end is often the beginning. We can assist you from your Divorce Application to your Divorce Hearing so that you can obtain a Divorce Order which will finalise your Divorce.
Property & Financial Settlements
What do we do about all of our possessions and debt? We work with you and collaboratively work with your former partner, spouse or their legal representative to come to a resolution that is the best outcome for your family. This includes advising you on your rights under the Family Law Act, negotiation, mediation and litigation when required.

How do we care for the kids in two homes? We are a child focused firm. The best interests of your children are paramount. Let’s work out together what works for your individual family. We want to help you create a plan that provides your children stability and security, so they can navigate this new version of what a family looks like to them.
